FOXBORO, Mass. — Brunswick’s Kyle Woodruff notched an assist recently as Stonehill College fell to Worcester State University, 5-2 at the Foxboro Sports Center to wrap up 2017 before heading to winter break.
Stonehill (4-7-1) saw sophomore Connor Jewett record his third straight multi-point game with the Skyhawks only two goals of the game. Thomas Mahoney and James Varney also had assists. Billy Palmer registered 24 saves in the loss.
The Skyhawks return to action on Jan. 6, as Stonehill travels to Pawtucket, Rhode Island to face non-conference foe Johnson & Wales University with a 7:05 p.m. puck drop at the Lynch Arena/Blackstone Valley Sports Center.
