Lisbon United Methodist Church, located at 14 School St. in Lisbon Falls, will be holding its Annual Spring Plant and Bake Sale on May 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Make-your-own” potted arrangements will be featured again: Select your plants and a pot and make a personalized gift for Mom or a friend, or select one that is ready to go.
There will also be handmade garden crafts and decorations. Treat mom to some special treats or dessert with homemade pies, cakes and other baked goods.
The annual event helps fund the local and regional missions of the church. Plants will be supplied this year by local gardeners and Four Duck Pond Greenhouses of Bowdoin. Call the church at (207) 353-4982 for details.
