St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Lisbon is offering a free Spiritual Gifts Workshop led Nancy Violette on May 20 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
“Ever wonder what God has equipped you to do? This workshop is designed to change your life,” said Violette.
The workshop will focus on Scripture passages relating to God-given gifts. Each participant will then complete a questionnaire that will help discover their gifts. There will be time for discussion and questions as well.
Violette, a member of St. Matthew’s and weekly Bible Study leader for more than 50 years, has taught the 2- year Bethel Bible Series several times.
Violette earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Maine. She recently retired after teaching math for more than 30 years at various schools.
