AUGUSTA — The Brunswick High School freshman boys basketball squad beat Cony Friday to win the first game of the season, 66-28.
Corban Teel led the way with 35 points and Chris Glover and Jackson Gordon had nine each. Jesse Devereaux had a standout floor game with 10 assists and five steals. Glover and Gordon were defensive standouts as Gordon had nine steals and Glover six (and took two charges).
Teel, Austin Phillips, Jaznel Burns, and Owen Sturgeon had eight boards each.
The Dragons visit Edward Little today.
