Merrymeeting Audubon Society, a chapter of Maine Audubon, is offering scholarships to two environmental education camps this summer.
Both camps are residential. Full to half scholarships are available.
Students who live within the Merrymeeting Audubon area may submit essays with a completed application form, available by calling 729-8661.
Children in grades 3 through 5 may apply for Tanglewood 4-H Camp in Lincolnville, which provides traditional camp activities and environmental education from late June to mid-August.
Students who will be ages 10 to 15 by August may apply to UMaine 4H Camp at Bryant Pond.
