The Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. today to consider a conditional-use permit submitted by Brent and Jessica Williams to convert 67 Townsend Way into an Internet art studio business.
The meeting will be held at the municipal building at 100 Main St.
Town Planner Rich Roedner said the conditional use the board will consider is for a use in the town code called “Rural Entrepreneurial Use,” which allows certain types of business to take place in residential districts as long as they meet certain criteria.
Rules can limit uses to lowimpact non-residential activities; limit the total squarefootage of the business; require a minimum lot size; and regulate the type of road used to access to the property.
The use the Williams are proposing would be classified as a service business, Roedner said.
Roedner said the Williamses are currently in the process of purchasing the property at 67 Townsend Way.
