GARDINER — The Sugg Middle School boys soccer squad tied Gardiner 1-1 on Monday.
Gardiner stunned the Lisbon defense and slipped one into the goal just 49 seconds into the game.
The Sugg offense continued to work hard and 22 minutes into the second half, a Sugg penalty shot was taken by striker Ryley Austin, who put it in the net to mark the ’Hounds’ (0-2-1) first goal this season.
Fullbacks Brandon Bartlett and Reece Rustad stood out, as did Jonah Sautter and Dylan George on offense.
