Meals on Wheels urgently needs volunteer drivers
‘Tis the season that more people need Meals on Wheels and that many volunteers delivering meals in Cumberland and York counties leave Maine for warmer climates. Last year Southern Maine Agency on Aging’s volunteers delivered 172,923 meals. Volunteers spent 29,364 hours driving hot meals to people who have limited mobility to shop and prepare food. […]
