AUBURN — Stephaine Marie Card, 26 of Bowdoinham Road, Lisbon Falls, died on Thursday, August 2 with family and friends by her side at Hospice House following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Lewiston, August 31, 1985 daughter of Nancy Carville and Tom Card. Stephaine graduated June 8, 2003 from Mt. Ararat High School. She attended Husson College and UMO pursuing a degree in finance. Stephaine was wonderful with children and enjoyed directing the before and after day care program at Monmouth schools. She recently was employed as an administrative secretary at CMMC in Lewiston. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and fashion, horseback riding on the beach, baking and spending time with family and friends. She loved movies, planning theme parties and sharing her special pistachio cupcakes. Her dream was to open a cupcake shop. Stephaine was a born leader with an infectious smile and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Stephaine is survived by her mother, Nancy Carville and step-father, James Carville of Lisbon Falls; her father, Tom Card of Texas; a brother, Seth Card of Bowdoin; step-brother James Carville and his wife Brittany of Leeds; maternal grandmother, Frances Douglass of Rochester, NH; many aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family and friends and her beloved cat, Elliot.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11 at the West Bowdoin Cemetery, 54 West Road, Bowdoin. Following the service will be a “Dress for Steph” celebration of her life.
