BOWDOIN — The Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department received a report of a stolen vehicle Saturday from a Bowdoin resident.

Chief Deputy Brett Strout said a woman called at 5:10 p.m. to report a 1995 GMC pickup truck — parked in the yard along Litchfield Road for years — was gone. The truck had plates on it that had expired in 2009.

In a separate incident reported to the sheriff ’s department Wednesday afternoon, a chain saw and a chop saw worth a combined $950 were taken from a barn on Carding Machine Road in Bowdoinham sometime within the previous two weeks.
