PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Rev. Robert Orr of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, age 85 went home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 11, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of Nina Orr (nee Barton) for over 63 years. He was the loving father Eileen Slocum (Rick), David Orr, Pastor Paul Orr (Michelle), Susan Sabourin (Scott) and Bill Orr (Paula). He was the devoted grandpop of Erin, Beth, Robyn, Jill, Rich, Blake, Megan, Chad, Ryan, Cecily, Tatiana and Kyle. He will also be sadly missed by his nine great-grandchildren, his sisters Catherine Orr, Ruth Malloy many other relatives and dear friends.
Rev. Orr pastored at churches in California, Maine, West Virginia, Philadelphia and was a chaplain for Cardone Industries and Alpha Systems for many years.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet his family Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at Grace City Church 8950 Ashton Road, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19136. His service will follow Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Interment will held at Sunset Memorial Park.
