BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin College senior Julie Dachille has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week.
Dachille scored a hat trick on Saturday as the Polar Bears earned a win and a tie at Connecticut College last weekend. After a 1-1 tie on Friday night, Dachille rallied the Polar Bears to a win on Saturday, netting the game-tying goal in the second period and the eventual third period game-winner in a 5-4 victory.
It is the second NESCAC Player of the Week honor for Dachille this season, who also earned the honor on Dec. 11. She has netted a team-best 12 goals this season for Bowdoin, including a trio of game-winners, and has totaled 38 goals and 25 assists in 82 games in her career.
Bowdoin will close out its regular season at home on Friday and Saturday against Trinity.
