BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Junior High School eighth-grade girls basketball team used a pair of solid quarters in rolling to a 38-16 victory over Oxford Hills on Monday.
Leading 10-4 after a quarter, the Huskies outscored the Vikings 14-4 in the second and 6-0 in the third for a 30-8 lead.
Leading the way for the Huskies were Bri Lemont with nine points and Kelsie Sullivan with eight. Mia Desantis and Sarah Coughlin headed the defensive effort.
At the foul line, the Huskies were 14-of-31, while the Vikings finished 4-of-12.
Brunswick is 3-1 and hosts Lewiston today.
