TURNER — The Brunswick eighth-grade girls basketball team defeated Tripp, 51-30 recently.
Leading the way for the Huskies were Kelsie Sullivan and Logan Brown, netting 10 points apiece, while Jaylee Sturgeon added nine.
Brunswick led 17-5 after one quarter and carried a 34- 16 into the half.
The Huskies were 15-of-28 from the foul line. The defense was led by Mia Desantis and Daryn Wood.
Brunswick is now 2-1, while Tripp fell to 1-2
