LEWISTON — Nina Davenport of Freeport scored a game-high 32 points as the Bates College women’s basketball team slipped past Trinity, 82-73, in NESCAC action on Saturday.
Davenport swished six 3- pointers as the Bobcats hit 14 from long distance in the win.
Bates, 7-14 overall, 3-6 in the conference, finished one trey shy of a team record.
Lyse Henshaw of Brunswick also scored in double figures for Bates, tallying 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting.
The Bobcats host UMaine- Augusta on Friday at 7 p.m.
