TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School girls seventh-grade basketball team remained undefeated with a pair of wins recently.
Against Bath, the Eagles rolled to a 38-18 victory.
The scoring was balanced for Mt. Ararat, with Morgan Ruff leading with seven points, and six points apiece coming from Gabby West, Lillie Singleton, Kaylee Bergeron and Emily Bontatibus. The Eagles defense held the Destroyers scoreless in the opening frame.
Julia Lucas led Bath with eight points.
Mt. Ararat improved to 6-0 with a 36-23 win over Tripp on Monday.
Trailing 14-12 at the half, the Eagles responded with a 17-2 third quarter for a 29-16 lead.
Bontatibus had a game-high 16 points in the win, with Singleton chipping in 10.
Katie Blouin paced Tripp with 13 points.
