BRUNSWICK — Alexis Guptill scored 12 points while hauling down 14 rebounds in the first half to lead Brunswick to a 64-26 win against Camden Hills in girls junior varsity basketball action on Tuesday.
The Dragons spurred out to a 33-10 first-half advantage as Guptill dominated in the post as well as in the open court, spearheading Brunswick’s effective transition game.
Emily LaRochelle led all scorers with 13 points while Rosalie White added 12 points for the Dragons. Mackenzie Burrows played an effective team game, dishing out seven assists to go along with nine rebounds and six points. Holly Black, Anna Kousky and Tanisha McKenzie continued their steady defensive play to help stifle Camden’s offense.
Myn Wiley led the Windjammers with 12 points.
