Voters in House District 9 (which includes Kennebunkport and parts of Kennebunk and Biddeford) have an opportunity to elect a representative who is both business-savvy and committed to strengthening our communities.
Diane Denk brings a wealth of experience as both a manager in the private sector and an educator in our public schools. I have known Diane for many years, and know that she is a clear thinker with the ability to work across party lines. That’s why she has earned the endorsement of the Maine Small Business Coalition, among many other organizations.
District 9 voters who are ready for sensible progress in Augusta should vote Diane Denk for state representative on Nov. 8.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
