LISBON — The Sharon Drake Real Estate squad of the Bath Cal Ripken baseball league took on Portland Glass recently, earning a 10-7 win.
Kyle Fredericks led the way offensively for SDRE, doubling once and singling twice. Nathaniel Jewett and Boden Gould both doubled and singled, Gabe Aucoin doubled, and Brogan Shaw, Jacob Mowry, Aidan Wyman, Andrew Card and Owen Tucker added a single each.
Aucoin pitched two solid innings (five strikeouts), and Gould, Shaw and Tucker spent time on the hill and combined to strike out five.
The Portland Glass offense was led by Jeremy Harmon’s double and single. Owen Fish and Elisha Parry had two singles each, while Neil LaRochelle and Cole Daly each notched a single.
In a second game, SDRE took on BMDA, coming out with a 10-8 victory.
Led by Brogan Shaw’s double and added two singles, the SDRE bats were hot and amassed 12 hits. Wyman and Card had two singles each, Jewett and Aucoin both doubled, and Jacob Mowry, Boden Gould and Tucker chipped in a single each.
Shaw, Wyman, Tucker and Kyle Fredericks pitched, combining for eight strikeouts while giving up only four hits.
