BRUNSWICK — Bowdoin triple jumpers Brian Greenberg and Katie Krupp have qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship this weekend in Wartburg, Iowa.
Krupp, a senior, qualified with a distance of 38-08.25 feet that she achieved at the Aloha Relays on April 22. She is currently ranked 14th in the nation in the event and was an All-American in the triple jump at indoor NCAAs this winter.
Greenberg, a sophomore, will follow up his first-ever trip to indoor nationals with his first trip to outdoor nationals. He qualified with a distance of 47-07.25 feet after winning the triple jump at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship on April 30. Currently standing 15th in the nation, Greenberg collected an 11th-place finish at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship in March.
The men’s and women’s triple jump will both be held on Saturday. The women’s event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m., while the men are slated for 2:30 p.m.
