BRUNSWICK — The Mt. Ararat High School freshman boys basketball team rallied in the third quarter for a 39-33 victory over Brunswick in a “Battle of the Bridge” contest on Friday.
Brunswick led 10-3 and 20- 10 at the first two quarter breaks, but the Eagles put up 21 points in the third for a 31-25 advantage.
Sean Roberts scored six points in the third to finish with a team-high 11 points for Mt. Ararat. Austin Damon added seven of his nine points in the third, while Jared Balser added eight points.
Sam Sharpe paced the Dragons with 17 points.
At the line, Mt. Ararat went 14-of-28, while Brunswick finished 6-of-9.
