TOPSHAM — Travis Nadeau assisted on both goals to lead the Mt. Ararat High School boys soccer team to a 2- 0 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference victory over Lawrence on Tuesday.

The win is the first in the Eagles coaching career of Jack Rioux as his squad improved to 1-0-1 and visits Mt. Blue on Thursday at 6 p.m.

Nadeau set up Cole Kelly for the game’s first goal just 1:15 into the game.

In the second half, Max Spelke completed the scoring with 33:01 remaining.

Mt. Ararat goaltender Gavin Patterson had one save, while Lawrence (0-2) keeper Max Marin turned aside seven shots.

Playing well for the Eagles were Jimmy Pelletier, Cole Guerin and Nick Merrill.

TELSTAR 0 LISBON 5

The host Greyhounds received three goals from Austin Fournier en route to a Mountain Valley Conference win over the Rebels.

Austin Bedford and Steve Martin chipped in a goal each as Lisbon improved to 2-0 and hosts Winthrop on Friday at 4 p.m. Brad Boulet had two assists, with Josh Huston adding one helper.

In goal, Jonah Sautter recorded the shutout on two saves.

Tanner Wheeler deflected 10 shots for Telstar (1- 1).

BRUNSWICK 0 CAMDEN HILLS 3

At Rockport, Kienan Brown’s goal at 20:37 of the first half proved the only one the Windjammers needed in a KVAC contest.

Josiah Krul and Andrew Gross connected in the second half for Camden Hills, which outshot Brunswick, 32-10. Joah Welt assisted on the Gross goal. Lucas Boetsch made 10 saves.

Josh Dorr racked up 26 saves for the Dragons, who fell to 1-1 and visit Skowhegan on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
