Hazel Seekins passed away on July 29, 2015. She was born in Thorndike, Maine, on April 28, 1923, the daughter of George Gordon and Ruby Merry.
Hazel attended schools in Thorndike, Maine. She moved to Freeport and worked in shoe factories until retirement.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Seekins.
Hazel liked to watch NASCAR and was a huge Red Sox fan. She kept a book of their scores and records for quite some time.
She is survived by her son, Robert Gordon, and daughter, Geneva Mains. She had four brothers, Eslie, Alver, Maurice and Ralph, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed.
