BATH — Wilson’s was able to slip past Montsweag Roadhouse 6-4 in recent Bath Cal Ripken Baseball action.
Chase Nicolino, Zachary Carpenter and Caleb Sommers all shared time on the hill for Wilson’s, combining for 11 strikeouts. Nicolino also hit an inside-the-park home run in the game, while collecting another base-knock to lead the offense. Eli Torrey had a double, while Gabe Morrison notched two singles. Carpenter and Braedon Cunningham also added to the offensive efforts with a hit each.
Montsweag pitching duties were shared by Dominic Hood and Aidan Wyman. The pair went on to strikeout 14 hitters and issued only two walks.
