AUGUSTA — Richard Joseph Talbot Sr., of Augusta, passed away at Maine General Medical Center on March 3, 2015.
He was born in Bath on Oct. 18, 1936, the son of Chester Talbot and Angie Arsenault.
He was a 1956 graduate of Morse High School in Bath. He worked and retired from the State Hospital in Augusta.
He enjoyed fishing, the old firemen’s musters and the Windsor Fair.
Richard is predeceased by his parents, one brother Robert Talbot, two sisters, Dorothy Rideout and Ruby Williams.
He is survived by his son, Richard “Rick” Talbot of Windsor, a stepson Gordon Murray and a stepdaughter Sandra Foss, both of Vassalboro. Also nieces , nephews and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in the spring at the Whitefield Cemetery.
