MONMOUTH — The Theater at Monmouth is seeking a male actor between the ages of 9 and 12 to play the role of Mamillius in the 2015 Summer Repertory Season production of “The Winter’s Tale.” The production rehearses and runs for 10 weeks from June 15 through August 23. Auditions will be schedule by appointment and held at Helen Melledy Hall, 775 Main St., Monmouth.
Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale will be directed by producing artistic director, Dawn McAndrews. Tragic, romantic, hilarious, and uplifting, The Winter’s Tale is an enchanting story about the evil of jealousy and the power of forgiveness. Filled with mature wisdom infused with youthful optimism, the tale begins with a serious question, moves through lighthearted romance, and ends with a miracle.
