GORHAM — Sean Caddigan scored a team-high 13 points to lead three players in double figures as the University of Southern Maine Huskies defeated the UMaine Farmington Beavers 65-47 in a non-conference men’s basketball game Wednesday night at Hill Gymnasium.
With the win, USM improved to 3-4.
Fred Knight added 11 points in the USM win while Jacob Littlefield chipped in 10.
Leading 57-42 in the second half, the Huskies finished the Beavers (2-5) off on back-toback 3-pointers by Isaiah Stone-Patterson and former Freeport High School standout Mitch Loeman for a 65-42 advantage.
USM travels to Keene State College on Saturday.
