FARMINGTON — Former Mt. Ararat High School student/athlete Carly Raymond has been named the North Atlantic Conference Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week.
Raymond scored her conference-leading eighth goal of the season in a 5-0 win over Colby-Sawyer on Saturday. The rookie also added an assist in the five-goal victory to help capture the points lead in the NAC.
She currently holds the freshman record for most goals in a season and is tied for 10th in UMF’s history for most goals in a season.
Raymond and the Beavers field hockey team returns to action this upcoming Saturday at Prescott Field against Husson. The game is slated to begin at noon.
