Go! Malawi’s last race of the 2014 Race Series will be the Scare ME 5K which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Trackside Station at 4 Union Street in Rockland starting at 10 p.m.
The non-profit is continuing to raise funds for educational programs which help support orphans and other vulnerable children from Malawi.
There will be prizes and giveaways during the race along with a special prize for the competitions best costume. Walkers, runners and well-behaved dogs are all welcome to participate. Registration starts at 8:30 p.m. on the night of the race or you can preregister at Run- SignUp.com or Active.com. You can also visit www.gomalawi.org.
Team Go! Malawi is also looking for a few more team members to join them in its destination marathon or half marathon this fall.
