TOPSHAM — Ainsely Bryant scored two unassisted goals to lead the Mt. Ararat Middle School eighth-grade girls soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Lewiston on Monday.
Lewiston came out hustling and played a good game making great passes and being aggressive towards getting the ball. The Eagles’ Maddie Horrocks scored the first goal on a soaring direct kick from outside the penalty area.
Hali Pullen and Olivia Colleran played solid defense to help save some close calls on the Lewiston attacks. Mariah Bernier played a solid game at the striker position, putting some pressure on the Lewiston goalie.
Bryant put the game away with her goals in the final 15 minutes.
