Sunday, September 28 Noon to 3pm, Lobster House Cove, RT 216 Small Point
Join PHS Board Member Christopher Sewall and registered Maine Guide Levi Wark for a guided paddle around Small Point Harbor. We will rendezvous at noon and hand launch(no boat ramp) at the Lobster House Restaurant parking lot in Small Point (Rt 216). Participants should bring their own boats, canoes or kayaks, and be prepared for several hours on the water with pfds, drinking water and snacks. We will be staying inside Small Point Harbor, and the paddle is appropriate for beginning and intermediate paddlers in canoes, kayaks and small rowboats- no motors please.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
