BRUNSWICK — The 2014 Polar Bear Girls Basketball Camp is scheduled to be held Aug. 4-8 for girls ages 8-15.
The purpose of the camp is to provide positive instruction of the fundamentals of the game in an atmosphere that is challenging and enjoyable.
There will be instructional stations that focus on fundamentals and team play, games and competition. A camp T-shirt, evaluation and access to Greason Pool at Farley Field House is included.
A snack bar with pizza, Gatorade, etc., will be available during lunch break.
The came will be held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. day and will end at noon on Friday.
The fee is $250, which includes a non-refundable deposit of $100, and checks need to be made payable to Polar Bear Girls Basketball Camp and mailed to Attn., Adrienne Shibles, 9000 College Station, Brunswick, Maine, 04011. The registration deadline is July 20.
