WISCASSET — The Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum is hosting the next Wiscasset Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours event on Thursday, May 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at 97 Cross Road in Alna.
Steve Zuppa will be firing up one of the trains for a tour of Alna by rail. The train will leave at 5:45 p.m. — not to worry, there are both open and enclosed coach cars, so regardless of the weather, the ride will go on. The Ford Model T railcar will also be running and the museum and shop will be open.
An assortment of food and beverages will be provided. Be sure to bring your business cards, as there will be door prizes, one of which will include future train ride tickets.
To help with planning purposes, R.S.V.P. for this event with Vickie Hersom at 882- 7571.
The next Business After Hours is scheduled for June 12 with Wings Over Wiscasset at the Wiscasset Airport.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
