FREEPORT — The Freeport High School jayvee girls basketball team fell to York 51- 31 in recent action.
Freeport’s Regan Lynch had 10 points, six in the initial frame, to keep the Falcons competitive.
Freeport had a sluggish second and third quarter before coming on strong in the final frame, connecting on nine of 16 free throws. Dani Foster had a strong floor game, getting to the charity stripe three times in the fourth quarter.
The Falcons’ Jill Baker led in the rebounding department, while Brooklyn Washburn and Kaitlin Johnson provided relentless defensive pressure.
