BRUNSWICK — The Pejepscot Historical Society will take “A Walk Down Maine Street’s Past” at 1 p.m. Sunday, July 28.

Stroll down Maine Street and into the past as local historian Dick Snow guides visitors through the days when the Eagle Hotel, Clare’s Restaurant, the Pastime Theatre and Woolworth’s were among downtown’s biggest attractions.

Meet at the Joshua L. Chamberlain Museum, 226 Maine St. The fee is $3 for members; for nonmembers it is $3 in advance, $5 at the door. Call 729-6606 to register; payment not due until tour.
