WISCASSET — Lincoln County Democrats will discuss redistricting at their meeting Thursday, July 25.
With the decennial redistricting of State House districts now complete, there will be significant changes in Lincoln County for the next election: Edgecomb and Bremen will move to new districts, Nobleboro and South Bristol will be split between districts, the town of Jefferson will be reunited in a single district, and Friendship is being joined in a district with Waldoboro.
Jon Hillier, 2013 field director of the Maine Democratic Party, state Sen. Chris Johnson, D-Somerville; and state Reps. Bruce MacDonald, DBoothbay, and Tim Marks, DPittston, will give an update form the most recent legislative session.
All Lincoln County Democrats and supporters are invited to attend. The meeting will be held in the 911 Communications Center behind the Lincoln County Court House beginning at 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit www.lincolncountydemocrats.org.
