TOPSHAM — Police have charged a Topsham man with gross sexual assault stemming from an alleged incident involving a minor reported to the department late last month.
On June 10, police arrested Cameron Estrella, 18, of Topsham and charged him with gross sexual assault.
Topsham Police Chief Christopher Lewis said the arrest stems from an incident reported May 29 at 4:28 p.m. involving a female younger than 18.
The alleged offense was investigated by Detective Mark LaFountain and Officer Cheryl Holmes.
