YORK — The Freeport High School girls lacrosse team lost to York, 7-6 Tuesday in a cold mist.
York led 5-3 at the half.
Scoring for Freeport was Jocelyn Davee with four goals, while Meredith Broderick had a goal and Aubrey Pennell a goal and assist.
Scoring for York were Ruby Cribby (two), Courtney Cole (four) and Lizzy Wagner (one).
Freeport is 5-5 and hosts Wells on Thursday.
CONY 16 BRUNSWICK 10
Emily Quirion had six goals, and Josie Lee and Bayleigh Logan picked up three each as the visiting Rams downed the 3-8 Dragons at Bowdoin College.
Hayley Quirion added a goal and two assists for Cony (7-3), while Mary Kirschner, Katie Carroll and Haley Hanks chipped in a goal each.
Eliza Brooks paced Brunswick, which visits Messalonskee on Thursday, with four goals, with Libby Arford adding two.
