DRESDEN — Three candidates are lined up to succeed David Probert, who has decided not to seek re-election as the town’s second selectman.
The annual Town Meeting elections are scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 at Pownalborough Hall, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Melanie Gaczie, Lauren Haven and Gerald M. Lilly all are on the ballot for a threeyear term as second selectman. Property tax collector also is a contested position, as incumbent Ann E. Pierce is slated to run against Susan Bickford-Lilly.
Kim Rzasa is unopposed for the positions of treasurer, town clerk and excise tax collector. Michael Terrell has no opponent for his seat on the board of directors in Regional School Unit 12.
