TOPSHAM — The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2197 recently conducted an oath of office ceremony with District Commander Tom Rainey. Taking part were Judge Advocate Bob Lemont, Chaplain Henry Haley, Quartermaster Roger Stevens Jr., Vice Commander Al Bourque Sr., Vice Commander Lin Stevens and Commander Frank Leavitt.
The post’s next fundraiser will be a poppy sale May 18 at Shaw’s in Brunswick.
Regular meetings are held at Post 202 in Topsham at 7 p.m. on the third Thursday of the month.
