BRUNSWICK — Brunswick Skating Club member Sophie Calderwood recently traveled to Williamstown, Mass., to compete in the Bay State Games, a qualifying competition for the State Games of America.
Calderwood placed second in her group and qualified for the games, which will be held in Harrisburg, Pa. in August.
Other members of the club traveled to the Ice Vault in Hallowell for a test session and had great success.
Rachel Burns passed pre-preliminary moves in the field, as well as her pre-pre freestyle, Sara Packard completed her preliminary moves in the field, while Olivia Griffing passed preliminary freestyle, Sharon Henderson pre-juvenile freestyle and Charlotte Majercik juvenile freestyle.
