Police received six reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles near Berry’s Mill Road Thursday.
The Sagadahoc County Sheriff ’s Department received the first call shortly before 7 a.m.
Of four vehicles parked along Berry’s Mill Road, one vehicle had about $100 in items taken; change and a shoulder bag was taken from another, reported at 7:45 a.m.; a radar device was taken from a third vehicle, reported at 7:50 a.m.; and some tools and change were stolen from a fourth vehicle, reported at 8:03 a.m., Chief Deputy Brett Strout said.
Two other vehicles — parked in a driveway on Hill Road just off Berry’s Mill Road — also were entered, one with the owner reporting CDs had been stolen.
