BRUNSWICK — Local nurseryman Tom York will speak about rhododendrons for Maine gardens at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 at Curtis Memorial Library.
York, of York’s Hardy Rhododendrons in Bath, will give an illustrated talk on using rhododendrons in Maine gardens. He has been part of the local rhododendron azalea scene for many years and is described as a “veritable encyclopedia on the genus Rhododendron and which ones do well in Maine.”
Refreshments will be offered.
