BATH — Sagadahoc Preservation’s Dreamland Theater will screen “Cinema Paradiso” on Thursday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. at the Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St.
Celebrate the magic of the movies with this 1988, PG-rated movie. A filmmaker recalls his childhood, when he fell in love with the movies at his village’s theater and formed a deep friendship with the theater’s projectionist.
Movies are shown every Thursday at 7 p.m. The suggested donation is $5. The 2012-2013 season is underwritten by Jorgensen Landscaping. Movies are donated by River Bottom Video. All proceeds go toward the maintenance of the Winter Street Center.
Feel free to bring supper. Soft drinks, popcorn and candies are available for $1 each.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
