BATH — A vehicle reported stolen from outside a Western Avenue residence last weekend had not been recovered as of late this week, police said.
Bath police Lt. Daniel Cielinski said that a man reported shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday that his 2010 Honda Pilot was missing when he left his home at 38 Western Ave.
The man said he had left his keys in the vehicle overnight, Cielinski said.
In another matter, a Washington Street resident reported a home burglary at 12:06 p.m. Tuesday.
Cielinski said that the resident had gone out for a walk, and came home to find the porch door open and an interior door ajar. The resident told police that items were missing from a wallet, and that medication was stolen, Cielinski said.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
