RICHMOND
Enterprise Grange No. 48 will sponsor a Meet the District Candidates Forum Wednesday, that will include a time for candidates to discuss their opinions and goals and for the audience to ask questions after.
Following a 6:30 p.m. gathering, the forum will start at 7 p.m. at the grange, located at 15 Alexander Reed Road.
Candidates running for Senate District 19, Seth A. Goodall, D-Richmond, vs. Jeffrey K. Pierce, R-Dresden; and House District 67, Seth A. Berry, D-Bowdoinham, vs. Corey Nelson Troup, R-Bowdoinham, are expected to attend, and candidates running for any Sagadahoc County office have been invited.
Sagadahoc County Sheriff Joel Merry, running unopposed for re-election as sheriff, is also expected to attend.
Senate District 19 represents Arrowsic, Bath, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Georgetown, Perkins Township, Phippsburg, Richmond, Topsham, West Bath and Woolwich in Sagadahoc County and Dresden in Lincoln County. House District 67 represents Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Perkins Township and Richmond.
