TOPSHAM — Mason Griffin turned aside four shots as the Mt. Ararat High School freshman boys played to a 0-0 stalemate with rival Brunswick on Thursday.
Playing well for the Eagles were Eric French, Devon Drew, Nick Breed, Eric Seigars, Deamonte Stupinski, Max Bodmer and William Goller.
Brunswick goalie Evan Murray made three strong saves in the second half to keep Mt. Ararat off the board, and he received strong defensive help from defenders Nick Naculich, Reed Foster, Shane Lyons and Oliver Smith.
Brunswick’s record is currently 2-3-1.
