WATERVILLE — The Thomas College Terriers (2-6, 0-2) fell to University of Maine-Fort Kent 5-0 in a nonconference women’s soccer contest Sunday afternoon.
Former Richmond High School standout Lindsy Hoopingarner had 17 saves in her first collegiate start for the Terriers.
Thomas held the Bengals scoreless until the 24th minute of the first half when Ariane Pelletier beat Hoopingarner for the game-winner.
Pelletier tallied another goal in the first half, and three second-half goals completed the scoring.
The Bengals outshot Thomas 29-6, and held an 11-0 advantage in corners.
The Terriers return to action this upcoming Saturday at home against New England College at 3 p.m.
