BATH — The Bath Garden Club will kick off its 65th year on Tuesday at the West Bath Meeting House on Berry’s Mill Road.
A social time including refreshments will be followed by the business meeting and a presentation by speaker, Martha Hammond.
The topic is “Beatrix Farrand’s American Gardens.”
Harmon is the librarian and archivist for the Beatrix Farrand Society.
Founded in 2004, BFS is located on Mount Desert Island at Garland Farm, Farrand’s last home.
Harmon has worked as a professional archivist throughout Maine, taught science and worked for the Natural History Museum of the Smithsonian Institution.
