BOOTHBAY — There are still spaces available for the 2012 Poetry Workshop sponsored by the Lincoln Arts Festival on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The workshop will be held at the Boothbay Region YMCA’s Camp Knickerbocker on Barter’s Island Road.
Maine poet Dawn Potter will be the leader of this year’s workshop. She is the author of several collections of poetry including “How the Rimes Happened,” and “Boy Land & Other Poems,” with a third “Same Old Story” due out from in 2014.
The fee for the poetry workshop is $60, and does not include lunch, although dessert, coffee and tea will be provided. Payment should be made by check to Lincoln Arts Festival and can be mailed to Jean Webster, PO Box 352, E. Boothbay, ME 04544.
